One Pot Chicken and Vegetables | One Pot Chef




My super simple One Pot Chicken and Vegetables is the kind of easy, comforting, home style dish that’s perfect to throw together after a long, busy day. Brown some chicken, toss in some veggies and simmer until done! No complicated prep work. No hard to find ingredients. Just simple, wholesome food that lets the natural flavours of the ingredients shine - Try it today :)

Ingredients:

8 Chicken Thigh Fillets (or any chicken pieces such as breasts, drumsticks, wings etc)
1 Large Brown Onion
1 Teaspoon of Crushed Garlic
2 Cups of Frozen Peas
3 Large Carrots
8 Baby Potatoes (aka Chat Potatoes)
4 Cups (1 Litre) of Liquid Chicken Stock
2 Tablespoons of Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
Freshly Cracked Black Pepper

Preparation Time: About 5 minutes 
Cooking Time: About 40 minutes approx.

3 Ingredient Cookies and Cream Fudge | One Pot Chef



3 Ingredient Cookies and Cream Fudge is a quick and simple fudge recipe, perfect for last minute bake sales, kids parties or just when you fancy something sweet to treat yourself with! White Chocolate is combined with sweetened condensed milk and crushed cookies, then chilled until set. Cut into squares, these sweet, creamy fudge pieces are guaranteed to please a crowd - give it a try today!

Ingredients:

500g of White Chocolate
400g Can of Sweetened Condensed Milk
12 Chocolate Sandwich Cookies (roughly crushed, I used Oreos)

Preparation Time: About 5 minutes
Chilling Time: About 2 hours (or until set)

MAKES APPROX 30 to 40 SQUARES (depending on serving size)

3 Ingredient Macaroni and Cheese | One Pot Chef



Made all in one pan, this fabulous 3 Ingredient Macaroni and Cheese is easy to make, is bursting with a big cheesy flavour and only one pan to wash up! Milk is boiled then used to cook the macaroni, then a big dose of Red Leicester ultra sharp Cheddar Cheese is mixed in to make a glorious thick cheese sauce, Adults and kids will love this simple but delicious version of the classic childhood favourite - Try it today :)

Ingredients:

5 Cups of Milk
500g Bag of Dry Macaroni Pasta
2 Cups of Grated Cheddar Cheese (about 200g, I used Red Leicester)
Salt and Pepper (for seasoning, optional)

Preparation Time: About 5 minutes 
Cooking Time: About 20 minutes

Slow Cooker Beef and Broccoli | One Pot Chef

Slow Cooker Beef and Broccoli is a simple, flavor-packed crock pot version of the Chinese restaurant classic. Beef strips are combined with a delicious sauce and fresh broccoli, then slow cooked until tender. Serve with rice, noodles, or by itself. 2 Cloves of Mince Garlic (about 2 Teaspoons)
1 1/2 Tablespoons of Sesame Oil
3 Tablespoons of Corn Flour (Corn Starch)
3 Tablespoons of Water
Rice or Noodles (to serve, optional)

Preparation Time: About 15 minutes 
Cooking Time: 2.5 hours on HIGH setting or 4-5 hours on LOW setting

SERVES 4

Mac and Cheese Soup - RECIPE

Mac and Cheese Soup is a bizarre dish I tried during my recent trip to Melbourne. A thick, rich and creamy soup featuring fried ham and macaroni pasta, this dish is definitely not for everyday consumption, but suitable for an occasional treat - give it a go!

3 Cups of Dry Macaroni Pasta (cooked as per packet directions)
70g of Butter
1/4 Cup of Plain Flour
1 Teaspoon of Mild Mustard (I used Dijon)
3 1/2 Cup of Liquid Chicken Stock
1 1/2 Cups of Milk
1 1/2 Cups of Whipping Cream
5 Cups of Grated Cheddar Cheese (or what ever cheese you prefer)
About 2 Cups of Diced Ham
Salt and Pepper


Preparation Time: About 10 minutes
Cooking Time: About 20 minutes

SERVES  6 (or more, depending on serving size)

Fancy Macaroni and Cheese

Fancy Macaroni and Cheese is a twist on the old classic baked pasta dish. Succulent pasta is combined with cream, milk and cheese to create a deliciously thick cheesy sauce. Fried bacon and semi-sundried tomatoes are added along with freshly grated Parmesan cheese and bread crumbs to create a dish your whole family will love!
