Super Simple Banana Ice Cream | One Pot Chef




Super Simple Banana Ice Cream is a rich, creamy, no-fuss ice cream recipe that requires no complicated equipment and can be made with just 4 ingredients! Whipping cream is combined with sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract and ripe bananas. Whipped until thick then frozen until set, this super simple ice cream is guaranteed to please all banana lovers - give it a try today!

Ingredients:

600ml of Whipping Cream (any cream suitable for whipping)
400g Can of Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
2 Large, Very Ripe Bananas (peeled and mashed)

Preparation Time: About 10 minutes
Freezing Time: About 4 to 6 hours approx.

MAKES APPROX. 1.5 LITRES OF ICE CREAM

Banana and Blueberry Sheet Pan Pancakes | One Pot Chef




Banana and Blueberry Sheet Pan Pancakes are an oven baked version pancakes that are baked as a slab and served in slices. A basic batter is made with flour, sugar, mashed banana and vanilla, then topped with sliced banana and fresh blueberries. Baked until golden and risen, these sheet pan pancakes are best served immediately or frozen for later consumption - give it a try today!

Ingredients:

4 Cups of Plain (All Purpose) Flour
1/2 Cup of White Sugar
1 Tablespoon of Baking Powder
2 Teaspoons of Baking Soda (Bicarb Soda)
2 Cups of Milk
3 Eggs
1 Mashed Banana
1 Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
Sliced Bananas and Fresh Blueberries (for topping)

Preparation Time: About 15 minutes
Baking Time: About 15 minutes

Baking Time: About 20 - 25 minutes (mini loaves) or 50 minutes (standard loaf)

Banana Cream Pie Cheesecake is my version of the famous dessert from America's world renowned "The Cheesecake Factory" restaurant chain. Cream cheese, sugar, banana, vanilla and whipping cream are combined and poured on to a rich cookie base. Baked until golden, then chilled until firm - this rich, creamy cheesecake will be a smash hit at your next party- give it a go!

FILLING:

750g of Philadelphia-Style Cream Cheese (at room temperature)
2/3 Cup of White Sugar
2 Tablespoons of Corn Flour (Corn Starch)
3 Eggs
2 Teaspoons of Vanilla Extract
1/2 Cup of Whipping Cream
1 Cup of Mashed Bananas (about 2 Large Bananas)


Preparation Time:  About 20 minutes
Baking Time: About 90 minutes + Cooling Time
Chilling Time: About 6 - 8 hours


SERVES 8 - 10

Easy Banana Jam - RECIPE



Easy Banana Jam is a delicious fruit preserve that anyone can make. Fresh bananas are combined with lime juice, sugar and water then boiled until thick. Poured into a sterilised jar and sealed, this jam will keep in the cupboard unopened for up to 3 months, or opened for up to a week - give it a go!
