White Chocolate Cake - RECIPE



White Chocolate Cake is a deliciously sweet dessert. Melted White Chocolate is combined with flour, butter and eggs to create a rich batter. Lovingly baked and topped with a chocolate whipped cream frosting, this cake will keep everyone happy - give it a go!

INGREDIENTS IN THIS DISH:

CAKE:

200g White Chocolate
125g Butter
1/2 Cup of Hot Water
3/4 Cup of Caster Sugar (Super Fine White Sugar)
1 Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract (or Essence)
1 Cup of Plain Flour
1/2 Teaspoon of Baking Powder
1 Egg (Beaten)

FROSTING:

1 Cup of Icing Sugar (Powdered / Confectioners Sugar)
1 Tablespoon of Cocoa Powder
300ml Cream (suitable for whipping)


MAKES 1 CAKE (SERVES 6 - 8)

Preparation Time: About 20 minutes
Cooking Time: About 1 hour 20 minutes

ALL MEASUREMENTS GIVEN ARE AUSTRALIAN STANDARD METRIC
