Pumpkin Pie - RECIPE
Pumpkin Pie is a classic American dessert. Freshly steamed and pureed pumpkin is combined with spices, sugar, cream and eggs to create a velvet-smooth pie filling. Poured into a crushed cookie base, this sweet and rich dessert is guaranteed to keep everyone happy - give it a go!

INGREDIENTS IN THIS DISH:
500g Pumpkin (peeled, deseeded, chopped and steamed until soft)
250g Pack of Plain Sweet Cookies (crushed)
150g Butter (melted)
1 1/2 Cups of Cream (any cream suitable for whipping)
1 Cup of Brown Sugar
1 1/2 Teaspoons of Ground Cinnamon
1 Teaspoon of Ground Ginger
1/2 Teaspoon of Nutmeg
SERVES 8 - 10
Preparation Time: About 30 minutes
Cooking Time: About 50 minutes
