Beef Chow Mein - RECIPE
Beef Chow Mein is a quick and easy stir fry dinner that only takes a few minutes to prepare. Beef Mince is stir fried with onions, spices and fresh vegetables then served with noodles. Perfect for weeknight dinners - give it a go!

500g Beef Mince
1 Brown Onion (chopped)
1 Tablespoon of Vegetable Oil
2 Teaspoons of Chinese Five Spice
2 Tablespoons of Soy Sauce
2 Tablespoons of Sweet Chilli Sauce
1 Cup of Water
1/2 a Wombok (Chinese Cabbage)
1 Red Capsicum (Bell Pepper - sliced)
Handful of Snow Peas
400g Pack of Thin Egg Noodles
Preparation Time: About 5 minutes
Cooking Time: About 10 minutes
SERVES 4 - 6

2 Sticks of Celery
1/3 Cup of Hoi Sin Sauce (about 80ml)
1/4 Cup of Hot Water
Serve with Rice or Noodles
NOTE: Feel free to use any vegetables you wish

Simple Beef Stir Fry - RECIPE
Simple Beef Stir Fry is a simple main meal dish that can be made in minutes! Fresh vegetables and thin beef strips are stir-fried with noodles and a delicious sauce. Simple, fresh and everyone will love it - Give it a go!

RECIPE FACT SHEET

INGREDIENTS IN THIS DISH:
2 Spring Onions (aka Shallots / Scallions)
Baby Corn
Broccolini
1 Clove of Garlic (Crushed / Minced)
200g Udon Noodles (Japanese Rice Noodles)
500g Beef (Thin Strips)
SAUCE:
1 Cup of Liquid Beef Stock (250ml)
1 Tablespoon of Hoisin Sauce
1 Tablespoon of Soy Sauce
1 Tablespoon of Oyster Sauce
1 Tablespoon of Honey
OPTIONAL FOR SAUCE
For a thicker sauce add:
1 Teaspoon of Corn Flour (Corn Starch) dissolved in 1 Tablespoon of Hot Water
SPECIAL NOTE: If you can't find any of the above sauce ingredients, ask at your local Asian Supermarket. If worst comes to worst, replace the above sauce recipe with a pre-made stir-fry sauce.
SERVES 2
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: About 10 minutes
