Dark Chocolate Mud Cake - RECIPE

Dark Chocolate Mud Cake is a super choc sensation, perfect for hardcore chocoholics! Dark Chocolate is combined with butter, sugar, milk, flour and eggs to create a dark, thick batter. Slowly baked then topped with a rich chocolate ganache, this cake is seriously chocolatey - give it a go!

CAKE:

180g of Semi Sweet Dark Chocolate
225g of Unsalted Butter
1/2 Cup of Milk (125ml)
3/4 Cup of Water
3 Teaspoons of Instant Coffee Powder (optional)
1 3/4 Cups of Caster Sugar (Super Fine White Sugar)
1 1/2 Cups of Plain All Purpose Flour
1/4 Cup of Self Raising Flour
1/4 Cup of Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
2 Eggs

GANACHE:

180g Semi Sweet Dark Chocolate
1/3 Cup of Whipping Cream


Preparation Time: About 20 minutes
Cooking Time: About 1 hour 30 minutes (plus cooling time)
