Basic Focaccia Bread - RECIPE



Basic Focaccia Bread is a delicious Mediterranean bread that is perfect for sandwiches, dipping or just for a snack. Flour, olive oil, salt and yeast are combined with water to make the dough. Brushed with olive oil and anointed with herbs and spices, this delicious bread is very easy to make  - give it a go!

INGREDIENTS IN THIS DISH:

4 Cups of Plain Flour
7g Sachet of Dried Yeast
1 Teaspoon of Salt
1/4 Cup of Olive Oil (plus extra for brushing)
1 Cup of Warm Water (plus extra if required)
Mixed Dried Italian Herbs (or other desired toppings)

Preparation Time:  About 20 minutes (plus raising time)
Cooking Time: About 25 minutes

MAKES 2 LARGE FOCACCIAS
