Beef Bourguignon - RECIPE
Beef Bourguignon is a delicious casserole which is full of flavor. Beef is combined with onions, garlic, bacon and red wine to make a rich dish that is perfect served with rice, pasta, potatoes or mixed vegetables - give it a go!

INGREDIENTS IN THIS DISH:
2kg Casserole / Gravy Beef (any cheap cut will do)
1 Large Brown Onion (finely chopped)
4 Rashers (slices) of Bacon (chopped)
400g Button Mushrooms (halved)
2 Cloves of Garlic (crushed - about 2 teaspoons)
30g Butter
Olive Oil
1/4 Cup of Plain Flour
1 1/4 Cups of Beef Stock
2 1/2 Cups of Dry Red Wine
2 Bay Leaves
Preparation Time: About 15 minutes
Cooking Time: About 2 hours
SERVES 8 - 10
ALL MEASUREMENTS GIVEN ARE AUSTRALIAN STANDARD METRIC
