Egg in the Basket - RECIPE
Egg in the Basket is a childhood favorite of mine. A slice of bread with a hole cut out of the center is gently fried until golden. Finally, the hole is filled with a beautiful, freshly cracked egg. Also known as "Frog in the Hole" and "Sunny Toast" (and a hundred other names!) this dish is great for breakfast or a quick snack - give it a go!
