Key Lime Pie - RECIPE

Key Lime Pie is a deliciously zesty dessert, perfect for summer (or when you wish it was summer!) Egg Yolks and Condensed Milk are combined with Lime Zest and Lime Juice to create a creamy, thick, citrus custard. Partnered with a delectable crushed cookie base - this pie will be a big hit with everyone - Give it a go!

INGREDIENTS IN THIS DISH:

150g Crushed Sweet Cookies (Arrowroot, Digestives, Graham Crackers etc)
75g Butter (melted)
4 Egg Yolks
400g Can of Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 Tablespoon of Lime Zest / Grated Rind (plus extra for garnishing)
Juice of 3 Small Limes (about 1/2 Cup / 75ml)

SERVES 6 - 8

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: About 20 minutes
