Caramelized Onion Tarts - RECIPE



Caramelised Onion Tarts is a simple to make, yet very impressive dish. Thinly sliced brown onions are combined with brown sugar and balsamic vinegar. Cooked until caramelized, the mixture is spooned onto puff pastry, topped with crumbled feta cheese and baked until golden and puffed - give it a go!

INGREDIENTS IN THIS DISH:

1kg of Brown Onions (peeled, halved and thinly sliced)
1/4 Cup of Olive Oil
1/4 Cup of Brown Sugar
1/4 Cup of Balsamic Vinegar
2 Sheets of Frozen Ready-Rolled Puff Pastry
100g of Feta Cheese (crumbled)


Preparation Time:  About 10 minutes
Cooking Time: About 30 minutes
