Fruity Tea Loaf - RECIPE
Fruity Tea Loaf is an old fashioned, country style baked treat that is very easy to prepare. Dried fruit is soaked in freshly brewed tea, then mixed with flour, sugar and eggs. Baked until golden and firm, this moist cake is perfect for serving with coffee or tea - give it a go!

INGREDIENTS IN THIS DISH:
2 Tea Bags
1 Cup of Boiling Water
2 Cups of Dried Fruit (Sultanas, Raisins etc)
1 1/2 Cups of Plain Flour
125g Butter (melted)
2 Eggs
1/2 Cup of Sugar
1/4 Cup of Milk
1 Teaspoon of Baking Powder
Preparation Time: About 10 minutes + standing time
Cooking Time: About 1 hour
SERVES 8
ALL MEASUREMENTS GIVEN ARE AUSTRALIAN STANDARD METRIC
