Old Fashioned Oat Cookies - RECIPE
Oatmeal Cookies are an old fashioned biscuit recipe made with basic ingredients. Rolled Oats are combined with flour, sugars and milk to create a thick dough. This recipe makes about 30 cookies for a very modest price - give it a go!

INGREDIENTS IN THIS DISH:
3 Cups of Rolled Oats
1 Cup of Plain Flour
1/3 Cup of Brown Sugar
1/4 Cup of Milk
1/4 Cup of Golden Syrup (or Honey)
60g Butter (soft)
MAKES ABOUT 30 COOKIES
Preparation Time: About 10 minutes
Cooking Time: About 10 minutes per batch
ALL MEASUREMENTS GIVEN ARE AUSTRALIAN STANDARD METRIC

Hi, i am Bhagya from Sri Lanka. I just tried this recipe. It came out well. My husband says its not sweet enough, still with a cup of plain tea it went along well.
I did use Honey, since its common in here than golden syrup.
I did small alterations to the recipe. Used Atta flour (whole wheat flour) also No fat milk. may be be cause of that i had to use an extra quarter cup of milk while making the dough, as it was bit too dry.
