Coffee Self Saucing Pudding | One Pot Chef



Coffee Self Saucing Pudding is wonderful old fashioned dessert, perfect for warming up in cold weather. This baked dessert features a moist layer of cakey pudding on top, and a thick layer of sauce underneath. Easy to put together, this winter wonder is a little bit of kitchen magic that everyone will want a second bowlful - give it a try today!

Ingredients:

1 1/2 Cups of Self Raising Flour
1/2 Cup of Plain Flour
1/2 Cup of White Sugar
1 Cup of Brown Sugar
2 Eggs
2 Cups of Milk
200g of White Chocolate (chopped)
2 Cups of Boiling Water

Optional: Serve with Ice Cream or Whipped Cream

Preparation Time: About 15 minutes
Cooking Time: About 45 minutes

Slow Cooker French Toast Pudding | One Pot Chef

Slow Cooker French Toast Pudding is a new twist on the classic Bread Pudding. Sandwich bread is combined with eggs, milk, brown sugar, vanilla and cinnamon, then slow cooked until golden. Served with lashings of maple syrup, this sweet treat is great for breakfast, brunch or whenever you need a warm, comforting dessert - give it a go!

1/2 Loaf of Sandwich Bread (I used thick cut, day old bread)
6 Eggs
Small Amount of Butter or Margarine
2 Cups of Milk (500ml)
1 Tablespoon of Brown Sugar
1 Teaspoon of Cinnamon
1 Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
Maple Syrup (or other sauces / toppings, to serve)

Preparation Time: About 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 6 hours (minimum) on LOW setting

SERVES 4 to 6 (depending on serving size)

1/2 Cup of Brandy (or similar liquor or orange juice)
150g of Butter
1/2 Cup of Brown Sugar
2 Eggs
1 1/2  Teaspoons of Mixed Spice
1 Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
1/2 Cup of Cranberry Sauce (or Apple Sauce)
1/2 Cup of Plain Flour
1 1/2 Cups of Fresh Breadcrumbs

NOTE: You can make the pudding up to 1 day ahead. To reheat, turn pudding out onto a plate and microwave uncovered for 10 minutes on 30% power until warmed through.


Preparation Time:  About 15 minutes
Cooking Time: About 45 minutes
