Easy Chicken Alfredo Pasta | One Pot Chef



This easy version of Chicken Alfredo Pasta is perfect for quick weeknight dinners, or whenever you need a satisfying creamy pasta dish! Chicken is browned and added to pasta and a delicious home made Alfredo sauce made from fresh cream, butter, garlic and Parmesan cheese. Try it today :)

Ingredients:

500g of Pasta (cooked using packet directions)
2 Large Chicken Breast Fillets (slice in half lengthways)
Olive Oil
30g of Butter
3-4 Cloves of Crushed Garlic (about 3 Teaspoons)
400ml of Whipping Cream (about 1 1/2 Cups)
1/2 Cup of Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese
1/2 Cup of reserved cooking water from pasta
Freshly Chopped Parsley
Salt and Pepper

Preparation Time: About 10 minutes
Cooking Time: About 20 minutes

Slow Cooker French Toast Pudding | One Pot Chef

Slow Cooker French Toast Pudding is a new twist on the classic Bread Pudding. Sandwich bread is combined with eggs, milk, brown sugar, vanilla and cinnamon, then slow cooked until golden. Served with lashings of maple syrup, this sweet treat is great for breakfast, brunch or whenever you need a warm, comforting dessert - give it a go!

1/2 Loaf of Sandwich Bread (I used thick cut, day old bread)
6 Eggs
Small Amount of Butter or Margarine
2 Cups of Milk (500ml)
1 Tablespoon of Brown Sugar
1 Teaspoon of Cinnamon
1 Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
Maple Syrup (or other sauces / toppings, to serve)

Preparation Time: About 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 6 hours (minimum) on LOW setting

SERVES 4 to 6 (depending on serving size)

Scotch Eggs | One Pot Chef

Scotch Eggs are a classic dish from the British Isles, and is commonly associated with Scotland. A hard boiled egg is encased in a mixture of beef, pork and herbs, then crumbed and deep fried until golden and crispy. Served hot or cold, these little babies are great as a snack, a meal, by themselves or sliced up and served on sandwiches (my favourite!) - give it a go!

6 Hard Boiled Eggs (shells removed)
500g Pork Mince
500g Beef Mince
1 Small Brown Onion (finely grated)
1 Clove of Crushed Garlic (about a teaspoon)
1 Teaspoon of Mild Mustard
2 Tablespoons of Freshly Chopped Parsley
Salt and Pepper
2 Cups of Fresh Breadcrumbs
3 Eggs (lightly beaten)
1 Cup of Plain (All Purpose) Flour
Vegetable Oil (for deep frying)

Preparation Time: About 20 minutes (plus chilling time)
Cooking Time: About 6 minutes per batch

MAKES 6 SCOTCH EGGS

Fresh cherries are pitted and halved, then steeped in sugar and lemon juice. Combined with chocolate cake, chocolate custard and topped with whipped cream, this easy dessert looks fancy, but is a total cheat! Tell them you spent hours making it, they’ll never know - give it a go!

Preparation Time: About 20 minutes (plus chilling time and standing time)
