3 Ingredient Vanilla Bean Ice Cream is a super simple ice cream recipe that doesn’t require an ice cream maker or even churning! Cream is combined with condensed milk and vanilla beans then whipped until thick. Once frozen, this ice cream is ready to serve immediately. No complicated recipes or expensive machines. Just a delicious ice cream that is easily adapted to make almost any flavour you can think of - give it a go!

Vanilla Bean Creme Brulee - RECIPE



Vanilla Bean Creme Brulee is an elegant, restaurant style dessert that is reasonably easy to make at home. A delicious home made custard is made with cream, eggs and vanilla bean paste and baked in a water bath. Chilled then topped with a hard toffee coating, this amazing sweet treat will impress your dinner party guests - give it a go!

RECIPE FACT SHEET

INGREDIENTS IN THIS DISH:

2 Cups (600ml) of Cream (any cream suitable for whipping)
1/3 Cup of Caster Sugar (Super Fine White Sugar)
1 Teaspoon of Vanilla Bean Paste
5 Egg Yolks
Extra Caster Sugar (for topping)


Preparation Time:  About 10 minutes
Cooking Time: About 35 minutes
Chilling Time: Overnight (at least 6 hours minimum)


MAKES 2 LARGE OR 4 SMALL CREME BRULEES

PLEASE NOTE: You can replace the Vanilla Bean Paste with an equal amount of Vanilla Extract / Essence or 1 Vanilla Pod.

If using a Vanilla Pod, split the pod down the middle and scrape the seeds out with a knife. Add pod and seeds to cream mixture. Remove pod after simmering and discard.

Sausage and Bean Casserole - RECIPE

Sausage and Bean Casserole is an easy weekday dinner that can be made in either a slow cooker or the oven. Sausages are lightly browned and combined with onion, beans, bacon, mushrooms and tomatoes to create a rich and tasty casserole that the whole family will love - Give it a go!

INGREDIENTS IN THIS DISH:

8 Thin Sausages (Flavoured Sausages are best)
1 Brown Onion (Chopped)
8 Button Mushrooms (Sliced)
2 Slices of Middle Rasher Bacon (Chopped)
400g Can of Diced Tomatoes
400g Can of Three Bean Mix (Drained)
2 Tablespoons of Barbecue Sauce

Preparation Time: About 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 3 hours (Slow Cooker) or 1.5 hours (Oven)

SERVES 4 - 6
