Hot Italian Sandwiches | One Pot Chef

Hot Italian Sandwiches is a classic recipe made famous by Italian American immigrants and loved throughout North America. Long soft bread rolls are stuffed with cheese, ham, salami and pepperoni then lightly baked until hot and melted. Sliced Cheese (anything that melts nicely)
Thinly Sliced Ham

60g of Butter (1/2 Stick - at room temperature)

1 Teaspoon of Dried Mixed Italian Herbs

Preparation Time: About 10 minutes 
Cooking Time: 10 minutes

Savoiardi (Italian Sponge Finger Biscuits) - RECIPE

Savoiardi are light, fluffy Italian sponge finger biscuits (Lady Fingers) that can be served by themselves, or used to make the classic Italian dessert Tiramisu. Eggs, sugar, vanilla and flour are combined and piped onto baking trays. Baked until golden, these delightfully light cookies are easy to make but very impressive - give it a go!

4 Egg Yolks
2/3 Cup of White Sugar
1 Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
1 Cup of Plain Flour
1/2 Teaspoon of Baking Powder

NOTE: Sprinkle each finger with sugar or cinnamon sugar before baking if desired ;)


Preparation Time:  About 15 minutes
Baking Time: About 7 minutes per tray

Beef with Gnocchi - RECIPE



Beef with Gnocchi is a delicious mid-week main meal that can be made in just 20 minutes. Beef Mince is combined with onions, garlic, olive oil and your favourite pasta sauce. The meat sauce is then tossed through cooked Gnocchi pasta and topped with freshly grated parmesan cheese. Quick, easy and very satisfying - give it a go!

Spaghetti Puttanesca - RECIPE



This is my version of Spaghetti Puttanesca, an Italian classic. Tomatoes, chilli, basil, olives and anchovies are combined to make a delicious sauce, then tossed through tender spaghetti. Served with some garlic bread and a side salad, this is a brilliantly simple weeknight dinner - give it a go!

Easy Mini Pizzas are fabulously simple snack. Frozen Puff Pastry is combined with delicious tomato pizza sauce, your choice of meat and vegetable toppings and finished with a golden mound of tasty cheese!

Perfect for when you want to make something to eat quickly, and a brilliant "emergency standby" dish for when unexpected guests turn up!

Try Chicken and Mushroom, Ham and Pineapple, Spinach and Crumbled Feta or any of your favorite pizza toppings!
