Lemon Cream Cheese Brownies | One Pot Chef



Lemon Cream Cheese Brownies are a super citrus sweet treat, guaranteed to bring a little sunshine into your life! Butter, sugar and cream cheese is combined with flour and lemon juice. Baked then topped with a sweet lemon icing, these bright yellow brownies are just what you need on a gloomy day - give it a try today!

Ingredients:

125g of Unsalted Butter (at room temperature)
200g of Philadelphia Style Cream Cheese (at room temperature)
3/4 Cup of White Sugar
2 Eggs
3/4 Cup of Plain All Purpose Flour
3 Tablespoons of Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
3 to 4 Drops of Yellow Food Colouring (optional)

Icing:

1 Cup of Icing Sugar (sifted)
3 Tablespoons of Lemon Juice
Freshly Grated Lemon Zest

Preparation Time: About 10 minutes
Cooking Time: About 20 minutes

MAKES 9 - 16 SQUARES (depending on how big you slice them)

Home Made LCMs / Marshmallow Bubble Bars are a delicious treat, perfect for kid’s parties or an occasional lunchbox snack. Puffed rice cereal is combined with melted marshmallows and butter. Pressed into a pan and topped with melted white chocolate and candies, these gorgeous little bars only need to be chilled before serving - give it a go!

Deep Fried Mars Bars - RECIPE

Deep Fried Mars Bars are one of the most unhealthy desserts you could imagine! Invented in Scotland, a Mars chocolate bar is frozen and dipped in cake batter, then deep fried until crisp and golden on the outside and gooey in the middle. Not recommend for regular consumption, but good for a (very occasional) treat - Give it a go!

Chocolate Fudge Bars

Chocolate Fudge Bars are a quick and simple sweet treat. Cocoa, Flour and Coconut are combined to form a soft, moist base. Topped with a delicious Chocolate Frosting, this wicked little baked item will not last long! Perfect for an afternoon snack or a school bake sale, it's a guaranteed hit. Give it a go!

INGREDIENTS IN THIS DISH:

BASE:

1 Cup of Plain Flour
1 Cup of Coconut
1/2 Cup of White Sugar
1 Teaspoon of Vanilla
1 Tablespoon of Cocoa Powder
200g of Butter (melted)

TOPPING:

50g of Butter (melted)
1 Cup of Icing Sugar (aka Powdered Sugar)
2 Tablespoons of Cocoa Powder
1 1/2 Teaspoons of Hot Water


Makes 18 Chocolate Fudge Bars

Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
