Vanilla Sour Cream Cake | One Pot Chef

Vanilla Sour Cream Cake is a delicious and easy to make cake, perfect for serving with coffee and tea. Butter, sugar, eggs, flour and vanilla bean paste are combined with sour cream to create a smooth velvet batter. Baked until golden and dusted with powdered sugar, this super simple and morish cake is guaranteed to please guests - give it a go!

150g of Unsalted Butter (at room temperature)
3/4 Cup of Caster Sugar (Super Fine White Sugar)
2 Eggs
1 Teaspoon of Vanilla (I used Vanilla Bean Paste)
1 3/4 Cups of Self Raising Flour
250g of Sour Cream
Powdered Sugar (for dusting)

Preparation Time: About 10 minutes
Cooking Time: About 35 minutes
