Home Made Barbecue Sauce - RECIPE
Home Made Barbecue Sauce is a delicious preserve that can be used as a dipping sauce, for basting meat or spreading on sandwiches or burgers. Apple and onion are combined with tomatoes and various herbs and spices to create a rich, thick, smokey, tangy sauce that everyone will love - give it a go!

RECIPE FACT SHEET

INGREDIENTS IN THIS DISH:
1 Large Green Apple (peeled, cored, grated)
1 White Onion (grated)
1 Tablespoon of Olive Oil
1 Teaspoon of Garlic Powder
1 Tablespoon of Smoked Paprika
1 Tablespoon of Wholegrain Mustard
2 Tablespoons of Tomato Paste
2 Tablespoons of Worcestershire Sauce
400g Can of Diced Tomatoes
1/2 Cup of Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup of Water
1/2 Cup of Apple Cider Vinegar
Preparation Time: About 10 minutes
Cooking Time: About 20 minutes
MAKES ABOUT 750ml
This can be stored in the fridge for up to 1 month.
ALL MEASUREMENTS GIVEN ARE AUSTRALIAN STANDARD METRIC
