Slow Cooker Swedish Meatballs - RECIPE



Swedish Meatballs is my version of the classic dish. Delicious as a main meal,  Beef and Pork are combined with herbs and spices, then cooked and served with pasta, rice or noodles with a rich creamy sauce - give it a go!

RECIPE FACT SHEET

INGREDIENTS IN THIS DISH:

500g Beef Mince
250g Pork Mince
1 1/2 Cups of Fresh Breadcrumbs
1 Cup of Milk
1 Brown Onion (chopped)
2 Eggs
1/4 Teaspoon of Allspice
1/4 Teaspoon of Nutmeg
1 Teaspoon of Dill
2 Teaspoons of Salt
1 Cup of Beef Stock
1/2 Cup of Cream (Sour Cream / Heavy Cream / Pouring Cream etc)
Freshly Cracked Black Pepper


Preparation Time:  About 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 4 - 6 hours on LOW or 2 - 3 hours on HIGH + 15 mins baking time

SERVES 4 - 6


ALL MEASUREMENTS GIVEN ARE AUSTRALIAN STANDARD METRIC
